The Ventrac EA600 AERA-vator is an attachment designed to combat turf compaction by stirring and loosening the soil beneath the sod without destroying the surface. It creates core holes without leaving plugs on the turf, allowing for immediate use after aeration. The AERA-vator works best in dry, unirrigated ground, creating holes and fracturing the subsoil to improve the health of the turf. The size of the holes can be regulated by adjusting the drive speed.
