The New STIHL SR 450 BACKPACK SPRAYER (Model SR 450) is a high-power, universal mistblower designed for professional-grade plant care in orchards, farms, and vineyards. This powerful unit features a 63.3 cc (3.9 cu. in.) STIHL 2-MIX engine with stratified charge technology, providing 2.9 kW (3.9 bhp) of engine power while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Engineered for versatility, it includes a quick 2-in-1 conversion mechanism that allows you to switch between liquid spraying and dusting granules or seeds in just a few simple steps without special tools. The SR 450 offers an exceptional spray range of up to 14.5 m (48 ft.) horizontally and 13.0 m (43 ft.) vertically, taking significantly less time to cover large areas. For maximum operator comfort, it is equipped with the STIHL anti-vibration system, a single-handed multi-function handle, and a breathable backrest pad on the adjustable support harness. The transparent 14.0 L (3.7 gal.) spray agent tank features a large filler opening for mess-free refilling and an integrated protective collar to prevent spillages on the backrest cushion. Starting is made effortless with STIHL ElastoStart and a manual fuel pump (primer) combined with a simple starting logic. The unit also features a convenient dosing system with a metering lever located directly below the control handle and includes three standard cone, deflection, and double deflection meshes to adjust jet direction.
